We all have different plans for New Year’s Eve. Some of us are looking forward to going out of the city or abroad and some of us looking forward to welcoming the new year with our loved ones at home. In today's post, we have listed some special songs that you can listen to on road or at home for New Year’s Eve.

In last week's post , we shared our domestic and international travel advice with our readers, who have not yet made a New Year's Eve program. The songs we listen to on special occasions are another place, even though they are with us at every moment of life. The music that accompanies us in celebrations, travels, special days or special moments directly affects our mood. Maybe we'll add new ones to your moments, so let's take a look at the songs we suggest you listen to this New Year’s Eve.

' Petit Papa Noel ' is one of the songs that reflects the New Year's spirit of France, including the Eiffel Tower, which is specially lit for the new year. This song, known by most people living in France, is written from the point of view of a child who hopes Santa doesn't forget his gifts.

We continue our song list with ‘ Tu scendi dalla stelle, which is perhaps the oldest song to be mentioned in this post. Reflecting the Christmas spirit of Italy, it was written in the early 1700s. The song, which means you're coming down from the stars, tells the story of the baby Jesus descending from the starry sky to the cold world. If you have a plan to go to Italy on New Year's Eve, we recommend that you listen to the song live.

When it comes to Christmas, snow comes to mind and it reminds us Sweden. The song ‘ Räven raskar över isen ’ (Fox runs on the ice), which the Swedes sing while dancing around the Christmas tree, is in the third place of our list.

Another suggestion is ‘ Silent Night ’, which was adopted by Unesco as a cultural heritage in 2011. Composed in the 1800s, it is the only song translated into more than 100 languages.

Finally, we couldn't help adding ‘ Jingle Bells ’, which is perhaps the first song that comes to mind when it comes to New Year’s Eve.

Our advice do not stop here of course :) As for every special day, we have prepared a special Spotify list for this New Year’s Eve.. We put the link at the bottom. ;)

We wish you a nice year in which all your wishes come true.
